How does it work?
We create content (photos, reels, flyers/graphics, stories) which are shared from your account and ours. This is done by either a collaboration invitation, or sending you the content to post on your own schedule. We post on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
In exchange for content and posting, we will receive a “credit” (or similar) in an equivalent amount to what we would have charged for these services.
This can look like: gift cards, hosted stays, bottles of wine, a 100% discount code for purchases, or comped meals, services, products, and event tickets.

We believe in transparency; our current rate is $80 per reel, $60 for a custom created image (flyer, announcement, graphic) and $40 per static photo post (up to 10 photos per post).
While it is our goal to help as many businesses and entities as possible, we try to be realistic in the amount of non-paid work we can take on at a time; not all partnerships may be approved. Each Barter Buddy will have a cap of $200 worth of content per month.
We don’t want to waste anyone’s time; we do not promote topics that do not align with our audience, usual content, or values. We do not promote: multi-level marketing representatives (think Herbalife, lularoe, Mary Kay, Amway, doTerra, Avon), divisive political topics, independent travel consultants, or anything religion-based that projects alignment with that faith.

We are a Southern Illinois family of four (two very littles) that promote travel to and from the Midwest, with occasional visits to surrounding states. Our specialties include: Midwest tourism, hospitality, and travel, agrotourism, family-friendly spaces, staycations, local businesses, products (such as clothing, makeup, travel tools, jewelry), camping, road and train travel, and finding hidden gems in our area.
