SOPHi Nail Polish

I was gifted a few bottles of SOPHi Nail Polish, with a top coat and primer set in exchange for my review! Find it below!

• Pros:

  • NO odor, like none at all even while applying

  • GEL remover that did not smell or burn

  • Non-toxic

  • Thinner polish

  • Beautiful finish

  • hardened nails/nails didn't bend in a negative way like they do unpolished

• Cons:

  • Multiple steps

  • hair dryer or hot air tool needed for best results

  • requires several applications

• Final Thoughts

  I liked the look of this polish when completed, it was shiny and strengthened my nails. I am prone to thin and brittle nails that snag and rip, especially when washing my hair. I noticed a few times this polish preventing snags.

  I got three days of wear before a few tiny chips started on the tips of my thumbs, but with five animals plus a sturdy toddler and typing all day, I tend to chip my nails easily. It took about a week for it to chip to the point of needing redone, but the polish that remained was sturdy.

  I LOVE the remover. It is a gel and works so easily without a harsh smell or burning.

  I think the major con is all the steps needed. I think this polish would have lasted way longer had I used the hot air requirement and multiple layers...but I like more low maintenance applications so I didn't.
